How to Adopt a MonStar

Facilitate is our adoption process. It focuses on a multi-stage application including but not limited to;

Introductory Email or Message(fb), Adoption Application, Reference Check, Veterinary Background Check, Phone Interview, Home Interview, Handling Assessment and Adoption Contract.

As MonStars is not-for-profit our dogs are not `for sale`. There is no set adoption fee for all dogs. There is no listed pricing and there is no way for us to tell you `how much`. They are companion animals, you cover the cost that MonStars has incurred, within reason, to the rescue. All vetting including spay, vaccines and exams are included in adoptions (medical permitting).

Also within 1 year of adoption you can expect a `Check-In`of some sort. This process, although seeming long, has been one of the keys to our 94% Adoption success rate.

1. Send MonStarsRescue@Gmail.com an email with information regarding your home environment, any pets, experience with Mastiffs and power breeds and why you are looking to adopt. This is the perfect opportunity to also provide us with any restrictions you have for adoption and the type of commitment you are willing to make.

2. Fill out the Adoption Application below and include it with your introduction in Step 1.

3. Wait for a response from a MonStars Representative with the next steps and how to move forward. (Please be advised we are a volunteer based rescue organization and sometime response time can be up to 72 hours! Be patient and understanding.)

*Please note; All MonStars adoptions require a detailed introduction, a completed application form, a home visit, and reference check before any dog will be introduced

If you are interested in adopting but are unsure of what to do, please email us and we can discuss and guide you through the process.

MonStars would like to advise; we do not discriminate against small homes, apartment living or work schedules, we prefer that our dogs go to homes willing to put the time in for training and scheduling.
